Pour a tablespoon or two of the rimming sugar into a shallow dish.
Run the edge of a cut lime or lemon around the rims of two cocktail glasses and dip into the sugar. Set aside.
Fill a blender with the light rum, fresh pineapple juice, fresh squeezed orange juice and cream of coconut.
Blend until smooth.
Fill the prepared glasses with the crushed ice and pour in the blended drink.
Garnish with fruit and serve.
