Old Forester Bourbon 1L

Spirits: Bourbon, Rye & Whiskey

Old Forester Single Barrel Bourbon 1L
1L 43% ABV

Old Forester was America's first bottled bourbon dating back to 1870 set up originally for medicinal purposes. Old Forester delivers a genuine bourbon experience, with rich, full flavor and a smooth character that is ideal for sipping neat, on the rock, with a splash of water or in a classic cocktail.

Twice distilled, this remarkable spirit is crafted using an exacting grin recipe of corn, rye and malted barley. Old Forester is richer in rye than most bourbons, resulting in a uniquely full, rich, genuine character.

Tasting Notes:

Reddish burnt orange in colour. A nose of rich vanilla and chocolate caramel, complex and mature soft fruit medley with hints of citrus and traces of malt. Fruit notes explode into mature oak. On the palate complex, sharp, dry chocolate-cocoa swings into a sweet, sappy oak, rich harvest corn and sun-dried hay (malt). Hints of fruit linger in the background. Sweet, light then quick finish.
