Mount Gay Rum has been produced in Barbados since 1703 making it the oldest rum and continuously produced spirit in the world.

Each Mount Gay Rum is the product of over 310 years of experience and natural Bardadian ingredients as well as triple coral filtered naturally sourced water.

All of the Mount Gay Rums are distilled in a double copper pot still and matured in charred white oak barrels previously used to age American Whiskey.

Mount Gay Run: Eclipse Rum is a blend of dozens of single and double distillates crafted by master distiller Allen Smith.

Tasting Notes: Brilliant amber golden in colour. Distinctive floral and fruity notes of apricot and banana with hints of vanilla. A subtle smokiness on the palate with a warm, medium body and a bright finish.

Serving Suggestion: Neat over ice with a lime wedge or add cola to taste.

Eclipse Rum Cocktail Recipe: Rum Runner
> 30ml Mount Gay Rum: Eclipse Rum
> 10ml Creme de Mures
> 10ml Creme de Banana
> 60ml Fresh orange juice
> 15ml Genadine

Assemble ingredients in a blender filled with crushed ice and blend until slushy. Serve in a hurricane glass and garnish with a fresh blackberry.
