With a history seeped in distilling Kentucky whisky that dates back to 1780, Maker’s Mark Bourbon was launced in 1958. Bill Samuels Sr decided to sell off his family’s assets, ignore the traditional recipe passed down by his ancestors and create the first Small Batch Bourbon.

As all Bourbon’s must be distilled from a mash of at least 51% corn, Bill went against the traditional barley and rye and opted for soft red winter wheat.

The decision paid off as along with the distillation process using an old copper doubler still and the pure spring water used to blend it, Marker’s Mark Bourbon has been a flying success.

Maker’s Mark Tasting Notes: Woody oak, caramel and vanilla on the nose. Sweet caramel, vanilla and fruit essence on the palate. A smooth and subtle finish.

    Damaged goods

    If there are signs the box is damaged upon delivery, please make a note on the courier’s signature forms. If your items inside are damaged in any way, please keep them and contact us immediately and we will talk you through the process of returning the goods so we can replace them.
