Launched in 1999, Hendrick's Gin spearheaded the revival of gin around the world and has amassed a trophy cabinet to be proud of including two Double Gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Hendrick's Gin is crafted by blending spirits created through two very different distillation processes. A small Bennett still is used to steep the botanicals for 24 hours before distilling creating a heavily, oily over-proofed and strong juniper flavoured spirit.
The other spirit is produced using a larger Carter-Head still in which the botanicals are held in copper baskets above the distillation column exposing them to the alcohol vapours. This produces a spirit of character and light floral notes. Water as well as cucumber and rose petal essences are then added to the blended spirits.
Serving Suggestions: Over ice with a premium tonic and cucumber as a garnish (avoid citrus garnish)
